Philippe Rossignol, site designer and founder of the Association Généalogie et Histoire de la Caraïbe,
died on 28 May 2019.


Our Society

"Généalogie et Histoire de la Caraïbe" was created in January 1989 and intend to link people and societies interested in the History of the West Indies, Caribbean and Guyanas as well as History of the families actually settled or having lived there.


We are acting on the countries dipped by the Caribbean Sea, spanish, english 
and french speaking ones but, more specifically, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Martinique,
Saint Martin, Marie-Galante, Saint-Barthélemy, la Désirade, les Saintes and the 
former french colonies like Saint Christophe (now Saint Kitts), Saint Domingue
(now Haiti) or Sainte Lucie.
